OPEN POSITIONS:

Polysomnographer/Sleep Lab Technician

West Allis, WI

The Sleep Wellness Institute, (TSWI) Wisconsin’s largest independent and fully accredited sleep disorders center, is looking for confident, customer focused and self-motivated RPSGT Sleep Technicians. As Wisconsin’s preeminent center for the diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders for both adults and children, we are searching for employees to service our patients in our Mequon and West Allis sleep labs.

Position Details:

Under the supervision of the Sleep Care Manager the Polysomnographic Technician is responsible for a variety of polysomnographic studies including nighttime studies and day studies-MSLTs, MWTS, and PAP NAPS. As appropriate, administers oxygen and titrate CPAP/BIPAP/ASV/AVAPS. Pediatric experience is highly desirable. Is able to analyze data, score polysomnograms and compile data into a report for the physician to review. This position requires flexibility in filling the work schedule.

  • Hours per Shift: 12
  • Shift Start Time: 7:30 pm
  • Shift End Time: 7:30 am
  • FTE: Full Time 36 hours

Requirements:

  • Two years or more experience as a Polysomnographer
  • Registered or Register eligible by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
  • Certification in BLS
  • Good mathematical and science aptitude along with a general understanding of computers

Preferred: Wisconsin licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner

DME/CPAP Technician

West Allis, WI

The Sleep Wellness Institute, (TSWI) Wisconsin’s largest independent and fully accredited sleep disorders center, is looking for confident, customer focused and self-motivated CPAP Representatives. As Wisconsin’s preeminent center for the diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders for both adults and children, we are searching for employees to service our patients in the Ozaukee County/North Shore area, and West Allis.

Position Details:

Our locations provide CPAP products to patients being treated for Sleep Apnea, in both retail and clinic settings. The job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Educate patients in the proper use of CPAP equipment
  • Ongoing CPAP coaching of patients’ CPAP therapy
  • Ongoing compliance monitoring and patient outreach
  • Assistance with equipment troubleshooting
  • Ongoing dispensing of CPAP supplies

Medical Billing Specialist

West Allis, WI

Position Details:

Based on working knowledge of regulations governing CPT codes, diagnoses, Medicare, Title 19, and insurance guidelines; the principle objective of this position is to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable. This position posts all payments (electronically and manually) from insurance payers and patients, researches and resolves any insurance issues that affect or delay payment and resubmits claims as needed. This position analyzes patient accounts for collectability, assists patients in understanding their statements and solicits payments from patients on past due balances. Inherent in this position is providing back-up support for the rest of the Billing/Finance team as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Posting/Collections:
• Post all electronic and manual insurance payments (insurance/patient) to appropriate patient accounts daily.
• Balance, confirm and verify accuracy of electronic and manual payments as they pertain to the deposit spreadsheet and bank deposit.
• Analyze insurance payment discrepancies received. Determine if payment is accurate. If not, follow relevant procedures to resolve discrepancy and re-bill.
• Set-up payment plans with patients to help pay down balances due.

Insurance/Patient Follow-up:
• Review Past Due Account Aging list. Provide follow-up on unpaid claims with both the patients and insurance companies.
• Interacts with insurance companies and patients regarding difficulties with claims/payments and follows collection procedures.
• Consistently strive to reduce accounts receivable through verbal and written communications with the patient. Customer Service:
• Address patient calls/concerns regarding their bill to help them resolve. Patient calls and insurance calls are handled respectfully and patiently or referred to the appropriate clinical, technical or managerial staff.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with billing/accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office and medical billing software.
• An overall knowledge of functions and activities of medical practices.
• Knowledge of medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload. Meet deadlines and function independently.
• Ability to analyze billing transactions and identify any inconsistencies in reimbursements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.

 

Medical Assistant/CNA

West Allis, WI

As Wisconsin’s preeminent center for the diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders for both adults and children, we are searching for employees to service our patients in the Ozaukee County/North Shore area, and West Allis.

Our locations provide CPAP products to patients being treated for Sleep Apnea, in both retail and clinic settings. The job responsibilities are as follows:

Day to day functions for our Medical Assistants/CNA can include:

  • Assisting and preparing the patient for their visit by obtaining and documenting patient information/data according to department/provider guidelines.
  • Preparing medical records for patient visits.
  • Collecting and recording all vital signs and other pertinent information as outlined by reason for visit.
  • Preparing and assisting provider with exams, procedures and treatments, including those requiring sterile technique.
  • Instructing patients and/or significant others using established office protocols, delegated medical acts and/or specific provider orders and documents appropriate.
  • Administering medication in accordance with documented training and demonstrated competence.
  • Planning, organizing and prioritizing assignment to manage work within scheduled shift.
  • Preparing, stocking, cleaning and maintaining equipment and rooms for patient visits.
  • Decontaminating and preparing instruments for sterilization according to department/system policy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or CNA program.
  • BLS Health Care Provider Certification required.
  • 1-3 years of related on the job experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in electronic patient charting.
  • Experience taking patient vitals and “rooming” patients.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a definite plus!

 

Staff Accountant

West Allis, WI

The Sleep Wellness Institute, (TSWI) Wisconsin’s largest independent and fully accredited sleep disorders center, is looking for confident, customer focused and self-motivated Staff Accountant. As Wisconsin’s preeminent center for the diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders for both adults and children, we are searching for employees to service our patients in the Ozaukee County/North Shore area, and West Allis.

Duties:

  • Running month-end statistical and accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Post month-end in the Financial Reporting System, prepare month-end financial reports.
  • Reconcile detailed aging reports to month-end General Ledger balances.
  • Prepare financial reports in support of monthly close.
  • Balance and reconcile cash.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
